In light of last month’s Fly Chick Chat, I began to think about the agility that is needed on the water as well as the number of times I have tripped, fallen or just got plain soaked.  Then, I thought about tools that are out there that can really help in addition to increasing your agility and strength.  There are great walking sticks that can be used on the waters, especially on those days when the water is murky and it’s difficult to see what’s lying beneath the water.  Usually, folks think of these with regard to hikers, but they can be be invaluable in the water.  Curtis Wright Outfitters carries a great assortment of locally made staffs from “Sticks ‘N Staffs” that are beautifully hand-crafted.  Call or visit any of our three stores to inquire about them.
