- Seasoned vet looking to learn a few new things?
- Just want to get away and fish?
In Brief, we have you ALL covered!
What to expect at Camp
Our camp will give you ample on the water time in Aquatic Activities (Fishing) but, will also give you a chance to tap your artistic side in Arts and Crafts (Fly Tying), and plenty of time to enjoy nature. The only thing not like the camp you may remember as a kid, is the food. The Lake Logan staff will keep your bellies full for all the day’s activities with delicious, nutritious, and creative meals prepared by their chefs so you will have plenty of energy for the day’s events. In addition, special dietary needs can also be accommodated upon request.
Camp classrooms will consist of an introduction to fly fishing, trout, and fly fishing equipment. You will also learn to tie three flies and several of the most important techniques in fly tying. Want to learn about the bugs? We can help you learn the in and outs about fly selection for our region in particular or help prepare you for your next travel adventure. Additionally, any needed equipment is provided, but we do encourage you to bring any equipment you own so you can get used to it.
Alternatively, for those interested in less classroom time and more time on the water, or worried about wading ability or mobility issues, we can custom fit our Fly Fishing Camp to your needs either with extended days, easier access areas, or a float trip can be for an additional charge.
