2026 Fly Tying Classes
In our Beginner Fly Tying Class you will learn to tie the Wooly Bugger Streamer , Yellow Palmer Dry Fly and the Hare’s Ear Nymph. All materials, tools, and instruction are included in the class pricing.
Beginner Deer Hair spinning classes will provide all materials needed along with specialized tools. Participants are encouraged to use their own vises and tools if possible.
All Fly Tying Tools, All Materials, and Fly Tying Instruction Provided For the Fly Tying Class!
$50 per person – maximum of 4 people per Winter Fly Tying Class

Curtis Wright Outfitters is extremely excited to announce our 2026 Schedule for the Fly Tying Class. All classes are limited to 4 participants and will include all needed materials and tools. The class will begin with a brief introduction to Fly Tying, it’s history, and also the wide variety of possible materials that can be used. Each Participant will learn to tie 3 different patterns. The Wooly Bugger Streamer, The Yellow Palmer Dry Fly, and the Hare’s Ear Nymph. All needed tools and materials ARE included in class pricing. Since everything is provided, all you have to do is show up and be ready to learn something new.
